GHQ: COAS Pakistan holds meeting with German Army Chief

RAWALPINDI:  Chief of the German Army, Lieutenant General Alfonas Mais paid a visit to General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff Pakistan (COAS), at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.

According to the media reports, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, and defence cooperation. Both officials expressed their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations across all domains.

The media reports said that during the discussion, the visiting dignitary lauded Pakistan Army’s achievements in its fight against terrorism and commended the nation’s ongoing endeavors towards fostering peace and stability in the region.
