Giants’ headstrong QB Jaxson Dart refuses to change his play style despite injuries

ISLAMABAD: New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has refused to change his style of play despite recent injuries. His much-anticipated return, however, did not go as hoped in the matchup against the New England Patriots. Still, Dart managed to deliver a valuable individual performance.

Jaxson Dart returned to complete 17 of 24 passes for 139 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. The rookie quarterback also added 20 yards on four rushing attempts.

Despite Dart’s solid showing, the Giants still ended up on the wrong side of a 33–15 blowout against a Patriots team that has now extended its winning streak to 10 games.

Jaxson Dart had missed two games after suffering a concussion against the Chicago Bears but Monday night return tilt gave hope of him to be giving inspirations to his fans.

Dart was asked after the game about whether he planned to adjust his playing style, and he made it clear that nothing is changing.

“I understand the question, but this is football,” Dart said. “I’m going to get hit whether I’m in the pocket or outside it. I’ve played this way my entire life. It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone who’s followed my career. We’re not playing soccer out here — you’re going to get hit, things happen. It’s just part of the game.”
