Gigi Hadid hits back after Epstein files mention, says it left her ‘sick to my stomach’

Gigi Hadid has responded after her name appeared in documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the reference “disturbing” and making it clear she had no connection to him.

The model said the mention left her feeling “sick to my stomach”, addressing the situation in a now-deleted comment after fans began questioning her online.

“Horrible to read someone you’ve never met speak about you that way. Especially in this context,” she wrote, pushing back against any suggestion of a link.

The reference stems from a 2015 email exchange in which Epstein and another individual discussed how Hadid and her sister, Bella Hadid, rose to prominence in the modelling industry.

The exchange was included in documents released earlier this year as part of a US Department of Justice investigation into Epstein, who died in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.

Hadid said she initially chose not to comment publicly, explaining she did not want to draw attention away from Epstein’s victims. However, she later decided to respond after repeated questions from followers.

She also addressed her background, noting she “grew up privileged” and had early support entering the industry, but stressed she has worked consistently throughout her career.

Hadid firmly denied any association with Epstein, stating she had “never had any affiliation” with him and describing him as a “disgusting human being”.

She added that being named in the email, when she was around 20 or 21 years old, was upsetting and should not be interpreted as any form of connection.

Her comments come amid renewed scrutiny surrounding Epstein-related documents and the individuals referenced within them.
