WEB DESK: The recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan have drawn widespread condemnation from the international community, with countries including the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates expressing strong criticism and solidarity with Pakistan.
The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Natalie Baker, condemned the attacks by Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Balochistan and reaffirmed Washington’s support and solidarity with Pakistan. China also strongly denounced the incidents, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Beijing emphasised its opposition to all forms of terrorism and reiterated its commitment to supporting Pakistan in maintaining peace, stability, and public safety.
Russia condemned the attacks in strong terms, while Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations also voiced their condemnation of terrorism in Balochistan. The British High Commission expressed solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to maintain security and peace.
Meanwhile, Indian media outlets and social media accounts linked to the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were reportedly involved in spreading coordinated and misleading propaganda immediately after the attacks. Experts say these efforts aim to portray terrorists as victims and are part of a broader disinformation and psychological warfare campaign designed to promote terrorism.
Analysts warn that India continues to support terrorist groups in the region to destabilise security and obstruct development in Balochistan. The proxy networks reportedly seek to undermine local peace, disrupt public welfare projects, and derail initiatives aimed at promoting stability and prosperity in the province.
The attacks and subsequent disinformation campaign have further highlighted the nexus between India and terrorist networks like Fitna-ul-Hindustan, underscoring ongoing threats to regional peace and security.
