In the global market, gold fell by $10 per ounce, bringing the price down to $4,445 per ounce. This decline led to a drop of PKR 1,000 in local gold rates. Both international and local markets witnessed a continued decline in gold prices for the second consecutive day.

Meanwhile, silver also saw a decrease in value. The international price of silver stood at $69.70 per ounce. Locally, per tola silver declined by PKR 30 to PKR 7,454, and 10 grams of silver decreased by PKR 26 to PKR 6,390.
