Gold price continues to go up in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold continues to go up in Pakistan as the precious metal gained Rs857 per 10 grams on Wednesday.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola (11.66 grams) reached Rs2,20,600, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose to Rs1,89,129.

The increase in gold price was attributed to the rising demand and the global market trends. Gold is considered a safe haven asset in times of economic uncertainty and inflation.

The association said that the gold prices may fluctuate in the coming days depending on the international and domestic factors.
