Gold price falls by Rs3,800 per tola amid decline in international market

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Monday, with the price of 24-carat gold falling by Rs3,800 per tola as trading closed.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-carat gold fell to Rs453,336 per tola from Rs457,136.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs3,258 to Rs388,662.

The decline came after gold prices increased by Rs400 on Saturday, taking the per-tola price to Rs457,136.

The latest decrease in domestic gold prices came amid a significant decline in the international market.

The international price of gold fell by $38 to $4,308 per ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs122 to Rs6,802 per tola.
