Gold price rise by Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold per tola surged by Rs500 on the fifth business day of the week, reaching Rs250,700, according to the gold market. The cost of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs429, now standing at Rs214,935.
The rise comes after a notable decrease of Rs1,700 per tola observed the previous day.

Meanwhile, in the Saudi gold market, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the price of one gram of 24-karat gold was 286.37 riyals, 22-karat gold was 262.51 riyals per gram, and 18-karat gold was 214.78 riyals per gram. Additionally, one gram of 21-karat gold maintained its rate at 250.24 riyals.
In the gold market, an 8-gram guinea of 21-karat gold was sold for 2,402.29 riyals, while 22-karat and 24-karat gold guineas were priced at 2,516.68 riyals and 2,745.47 riyals, respectively. Moreover, one kilogram of gold was available for 287,988 riyals.
