Gold price surges in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan has risen by Rs500 per tola on Tuesday, reaching a new high of Rs215,200.

The price of 10 grams of gold has also increased by Rs429 , and is now Rs184,500.

The increase in domestic gold prices is in line with the global trend, where gold has gained 5 dollars per ounce, and is now trading at 2027 dollars.

According to the local gold dealers, the international price of gold in Pakistan is 2047 dollars per ounce, after adding a premium of 20 dollars.
