Gold Prices drop by Rs 2750

KARACHI: The price of a single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Tuesday was recorded at Rs 220,000.

The price of 10 grams of 24k gold was recorded at Rs 188,615

Likewise, 10 grams of 22k gold were being traded for Rs 172,896 while a single tola of 22-karat gold was being sold at Rs 201,667.

Earlier On Monday the price of gold for 24 Karat was recorded at Rs 222,750.

While in International markets gold prices eased on Tuesday as the dollar benefited from elevated bond yields and China’s economic concerns, with markets now looking ahead to US retail sales data that could shed light on the impact of higher rates on consumer spending.

Spot gold was down 0.2 percent at $1,905 per ounce by 0319 GMT, trading near its lowest level in 1-1/2 months hit in the previous session. US gold futures dropped 0.3 percent to $1,937.80.
