KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, tracking a decline in international bullion markets after a recent sustained upward trend.

In the international bullion market, gold prices declined by $23 per ounce to $4,305.

The fall in global prices also pushed down domestic rates, with gold in Pakistan dropping by Rs2,300 per tola to Rs452,936, according to local market rates.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs2,070 to Rs387,615.

Silver prices also declined in line with the global trend. Per tola silver fell by Rs144 to Rs7,359, while the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs123 to Rs6,268.
