Gold prices go up by 6,200 per tola to Rs221,000

The price of gold in the local market soared by Rs6,200 per tola on July 18, according to All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA). After the increase, The price of gold per tola has reached Rs221,000.

In today’s international market, yellow metal’s price increased by $10 to settle at $1,967.

The rise in the price of the yellow metal was in line with the movement of the rupee, which closed at Rs283.04 against the dollar.
