Governor Sindh hosts dinner for riders, delivery boys

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori hosted a dinner and Qawali night to honour the riders, delivery personnel, and their families who rely on bike deliveries for their livelihood. Joining him were Deputy Commissioner Zafar Abbas and Farukh Habib.

Tessori highlighted efforts to increase wages and provide health insurance. He also assured access to clean water through SIDCL projects and announced Umrah tickets for five fortunate attendees. Emphasizing collective ownership of the province, Tessori pledged protection of people’s future.

Over 11,000 riders were registered within three days and provided Eid gifts and rations, with plans to offer IT courses to them and their families. Additionally, a raffle during the event determined the recipients of Umrah tickets.
