Govt lowers petrol, diesel prices in latest fuel price update

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has reduced the prices of petroleum products, according to an official notification.

The price of petrol has been cut by Rs4.08 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs331.95 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs2.45 per litre, with the new price set at Rs389.93 per litre.

The revised fuel prices have come into effect with immediate effect and will remain in place until tomorrow, the notification said.
