Govt revises fuel prices, cuts petrol rate slightly while hiking diesel

WEB DESK: The federal government on late Monday revised petroleum prices for the new period, providing a minor relief to petrol consumers while increasing the price of high-speed diesel.

According to an official notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by 35 paisas per litre, bringing it down to Rs315.80 per litre.

However, diesel consumers will face an increase as the price of high-speed diesel has been raised by Rs5.71 per litre, taking the new price to Rs360.06 per litre.

The revised fuel prices will remain effective until July 21, as per the notification issued by the government.
