Govt sets updated LPG rate for July

ISLAMABAD: The government has set updated LPG rates for July, with prices revised across the domestic and commercial segments, according to an official notification.

The price of LPG has been reduced by Rs67.33 per kg, while domestic cylinders have also become cheaper by Rs794.05.

Under the revised structure, LPG has been fixed at Rs 241.43 per kg from July 1. The price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has been set at Rs2,848.91.

For the current month, the rate stood at Rs309 per kg, while in June the domestic cylinder price was recorded at Rs3,644.

The notification said that commercial LPG cylinder prices have also been reduced by Rs3,057, with the new price fixed at Rs10,960.
