Grand Quetta huddle: 30 heavyweights all set to join PML-N

QUETTA: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has kicked off a grand gathering in Quetta, where at least 30 political heavyweights and bigwigs are expected to join the party.
PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz are among the prominent figures who have already arrived at the gathering, which has also attracted leaders from various other political parties.
Sources in the PML-N said that the party’s standing in the political arena would be further strengthened by the inclusion of at least 30 influential personalities from different backgrounds and regions.
Former members of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), the National Party and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have also joined the ceremony.
Bilawal advises Nawaz to pursue independent politics
According to sources, former BAP MLAs Mir Salim Khosa, Noor Mohammad Damar and Rababa Buledi, who had left the party of Chief Minister Jam Kamal, showed up at the PML-N’s gathering.
Other notable attendees included Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, Mohammad Khan Lahri, Sardar Masood Loni, Faiq Jamali, Shoaib Navsherwani, Asim Kurd Gello, Jangez Murri, Ramin Muhammad Husni, Mir Dostain Khan Domki, Mujeeb Muhammad Husni, former BNP MLA Zeenat Shahwani, and former PTI MNA Khan Muhammad Jamali.
The gathering also saw the participation of individuals from diverse political backgrounds, such as PTI’s Sardar Atif Ali Sanjrani, former National Party Senator Dr Ashok Kumar, and former PPP Senator Syedul Hasan Mandukhel.
This convergence of political figures under the PML-N umbrella highlighted a significant shift in the political landscape, promising a new chapter for the party in Balochistan.
