“Great British Bake Off” contestant Dawn Hollyoak passes away

WEB DESK: Renowned baker Dawn Hollyoak passed away at the age of 61, her family announced on Saturday.

Hollyoak rose to fame for her baking skills and cheerful demeanour on the 2022 series of the Great British Bake Off.

Her family announced her passing with a post on Instagram, expressing “deep sorrow” at the loss of their beloved “star baker.”

Throughout her journey on the prestigious British baking show, the sexagenarian captured viewers’ hearts with her baking prowess. Despite being the sixth contestant eliminated, her creativity and sweet nature endeared her to fans and contestants alike.
