Gujrat Titans top the IPL Standings: Here is why the GT lead the front

NEW DELHI: Gujarat Titans (GT) continue to lead the IPL 2026 points table after delivering consistent performances throughout the season.

GT currently sit at the top with 16 points from 12 matches, having secured eight wins and suffered four defeats. Their strong net run rate of +0.551 has also helped them maintain the number one position in the standings.

One of the main reasons behind Gujarat’s dominance has been their balanced performances in both batting and bowling departments. The team has managed to stay consistent under pressure and has picked up crucial victories at important stages of the tournament.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) remain close behind in second place with 14 points from 11 matches and an impressive net run rate of +1.103. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are also on 14 points from 12 games but trail RCB due to a lower net run rate.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) are placed fourth with 13 points, while Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) occupy the fifth and sixth spots respectively with 12 points each.

Further down the table, Delhi Capitals (DC) have 10 points, while Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) remain in eighth place with nine points from 10 matches.

Mumbai Indians (MI) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are struggling at the bottom of the table with only six points each, making their playoff hopes increasingly difficult.

With the playoff race heating up, Gujarat Titans remain the team to beat as they continue to lead the front in IPL 2026.
