The draw to select successful applicants for the regular Hajj scheme is set to unfold on Thursday, December 28. The results of the Hajj 2024 draw can be accessed on the ministry’s official website.

The annual Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj is a sacred obligation for every eligible Muslim, requiring them to embark on a journey to the holy sites in Makkah at least once in their lifetime, provided they are physically and financially capable of doing so.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the ministry affirmed, “A draw for the regular Hajj scheme will be held on December 28.” The announcement coincided with the revelation that banks had already received an impressive count of over 66,000 Hajj applications under the regular scheme by the time of Friday prayers.

Acknowledging the surplus of applications received beyond the required quota for the regular Hajj scheme, the ministry expressed gratitude for the community’s enthusiastic participation in this sacred pilgrimage process.
