PTI protest

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President, Hammad Azhar, tendered his resignation from the party position on Thursday.

The PTI leader stated that he was not consulted about the change in the presidency. He added that only limited and one-sided information was conveyed to PTI founder Imran Khan.

Azhar stated that he does not have access to Imran Khan and, due to strict surveillance on his movements, he is unable to go to Adiala.

“Many decisions have been made in the Punjab without my input or consent. Most of these decisions were based not on merit” he added.
