Hania Amir speaks out for Palestinians at Hum Style Awards

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Hania Amir expressed solidarity with Gaza at the prestigious “Hum Style Awards” ceremony after winning the award for “Most Stylish Actress.”

The splendid award ceremony was held on the night of May 11, attended by renowned artists from the fashion, film, and drama industries.

At the event, Hania Amir was honoured with the award for the “Most Stylish Actress on Television”. When she took the stage to receive her award, she called for a ceasefire in Gaza, expressing solidarity with the Palestinians.

She stated that “this is an important platform for all of us where we can raise our voice in support of Palestine. Whether famous or not, everyone, including myself, has social media as a platform that can be used to advocate for Gaza.”

She urged people to speak up for Gaza through their platforms and make their voices heard worldwide.

She also expressed her desire for the hashtag #CeasefireNow# to continue trending on social media platforms, encouraging everyone to play their part. At the end of her speech, Hania Amir demanded a ceasefire in Gaza.

It is important to remember that since October 7, at least 35,034 Palestinians have been martyred and 78,755 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
