Haris Rauf speaks out after viral altercation with fan in Florida

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has spoken out about the viral altercation with a fan in Florida, USA.

In a tweet, Rauf stated, “As public figures, I am open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. Fans have the right to praise or criticize us, but when it comes to my parents and family, I will not hesitate to respond in the same tone.”

The national cricketer emphasised that everyone’s family should be respected, regardless of one’s profession.

It should be noted that a video showing an alleged altercation between a fan and Haris Rauf in the United States has surfaced on social media.

Haris Rauf was walking with his wife at the time of the incident. The fan reportedly asked him for a picture, which Rauf refused.

Following the refusal, the fan allegedly hurled inappropriate words, prompting Rauf to run towards him in anger. Haris’s wife was present during the confrontation, who attempted to stop her husband from a physical brawl with the fan.
