Heatwave: Punjab govt reduces college timings

LAHORE: The Punjab government has shortened the operating hours of colleges across the province, including Lahore, due to the upcoming severe heatwave.

All colleges in Punjab from May 21 will operate until 11:30am, and the evening shift in colleges will take place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

The provincial government had already shortened school hours to 11:00 AM starting Tuesday, May 21. From Tuesday until May 31.

Additionally, public and semi-government colleges will conduct educational activities from 7:30 AM to 11:30am according to the new schedule.
