Here’s the complete Lok Virsa Mela Islamabad 2023 schedule

ISLAMABAD: The schedule for the Lok Virsa Mela 2023, organised by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa), spans from November 3 to November 13 and will take place at the Lok Virsa Complex on Garden Avenue in Shakarparian, Islamabad.

The main focus of this year’s Lok Mela festival is to show solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The festival will showcase provincial pavilions, diverse shopping stalls, an array of food vendors, and captivating musical performances. ‘Lok Mela’ is aimed at highlighting the rich and varied cultures and traditions of the four provinces alongside Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

The festival will also include an open mic session allowing gifted singers to display their vocal talents.

Over 500 proficient artisans and artists from various regions of the country are participating in the occasion.

Entry tickets to the Lok Mela cost Rs150 per individual, with a discounted rate of Rs100 per person available for students.
