Here’s the Pakistani contingent in 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 league draft

Rising Pakistani fast bowler Ali Raza is set to take his talents to the global stage after being picked for the ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, set to run from November 18-30, 2025. Raza, who made headlines with his standout performance at the ICC U19 World Cup earlier this year, is among eight Pakistani players snapped up by four franchises during Saturday’s draft.

Playing for the Deccan Gladiators and joined by experienced left-arm seamer Mir Hamza, Raza will be making his international franchise debut in the 10-over tournament. Raza recently featured in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with Peshawar Zalmi, claiming 12 wickets in nine games. Hamza, no stranger to franchise cricket, has played across six PSL seasons, collecting 33 wickets in 29 matches for Karachi Kings and Zalmi.

Akif Javed, another promising left-armer, will be making his second appearance in an overseas league. Javed previously turned out for two sides in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and has worn the jerseys of Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans in the PSL.

Spinner Usman Tariq, fresh off an exceptional Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season with the champion Trinbago Knight Riders, also secured a spot. Tariq ended the CPL 2025 as the second-highest wicket-taker, grabbing 20 scalps in 10 matches.

Pace sensation Zaman Khan, known for his death-bowling prowess, will line up for the Ajman Titans along with power-hitter Asif Ali and Akif Javed. Zaman has already featured in top global leagues including the Big Bash League (BBL), Major League Cricket (MLC), Lanka Premier League (LPL), and The Hundred.

Cricket fans will also get to feast on the signature celebrations of Shahnawaz Dahani in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 league. In total, four teams secured Pakistani stars in league draft. Here’s a breakdown:
