How much rain did Karachi receive between April 2 and 3?

Karachi witnessed widespread rainfall between April 2 and 3, bringing significant precipitation across multiple areas of the city, according to recorded data.

The highest rainfall was recorded in Nazimabad, where 97.4 mm of rain was measured, making it the most affected area during this spell.

Other parts of the city also experienced substantial rainfall. Surjani Town recorded 67 mm, closely followed by Keamari with 66 mm. In Bahria Town, 55.5 mm of rain was noted, while Orangi Town received 53.6 mm.

Meanwhile, PAF Faisal Base recorded 50 mm of rainfall, and Gulshan-e-Maymar saw 49.9 mm. University Road’s Met Complex registered 47.6 mm, and North Karachi received 43.8 mm of rain.

At Jinnah Terminal, rainfall was recorded at 43.6 mm, while PAF Masroor Base reported 40 mm. The Old Area Airport recorded 38.6 mm, and Korangi experienced 34.7 mm of rainfall.

The widespread rain brought relief from the heat but also caused disruptions in various parts of the city, with low-lying areas particularly affected.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation as weather conditions evolve, urging citizens to take necessary precautions during ongoing weather changes.
