It was told that police and FIA officials entered the premises by scaling the main gate before taking him into custody. Iqbal was reportedly arrested from his sister’s residence, where he had been staying with his family during his holidays. The reason behind the arrest is yet to be disclosed.

A conversation with the victim’s brother, revealed that a group of 10 to 15 individuals, some in uniform and others in plain clothes, forcibly entered the residence: “After unlatching the gate and knocking on the inner door, the group encountered my sister’s son, but when he asked for their identity, they refused to disclose it, instead demanding his name.”

Once he identified himself, the group proceeded into the house. Upon Iqbal’s appearance, they confirmed his identity by asking, “Are you Khurram?” to which he replied, “Yes, I am Khurram”.
