It appears that the feud is as desi as it gets because the son of famous footballer David Beckham and former Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham has clarified that his wife does not ‘control’ him rather his parents have played the part leading to severe anxiety when he was growing up.

This of course does not come as a shock to anyone ever since the dispute begun in May 2025 when Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday. Brooklyn and Nicola got hitched in in April 2022, and it seems that the Beckhams did not really approve of Brooklyn’s choice.

But what is interesting here is Brooklyn’s accusation of how his mother Victoria had agreed to assist Nicola with the wedding dress but decided to abandon at the ‘eleventh hour’ which led many people on Instagram to question how Vogue wrote about Peltz’s year-long meetings with the creative director at Valentino’s.

Others on the platform rushed to support him with some commenting that it was good to see him draw healthy boundaries while some felt he was publicly attacking his parents to appease his wife.

Brooklyn also received a ‘that’s what a husband material is’ on his bombshell stories.

The ‘bombshell’ Insta story

Brooklyn Beckham reportedly reached a decisive breaking point in his long-running dispute with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, marking what sources describe as an irreversible collapse in trust.

According to an insider cited by US media, the turning point came last week, shortly before the 26-year-old released a public statement addressing the family rift. The source said the situation had deteriorated to the extent that Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, no longer felt they could rely on his parents in private or public matters.

From the couple’s perspective, repeated efforts were made to resolve the conflict away from the spotlight. They are said to have attempted open conversations, sought meetings and tried to mend the relationship behind closed doors. However, those attempts ultimately failed as trust continued to erode.
