ICC announces officials for T20 World Cup final

WEB DESK: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2024 final between India and South Africa at Kensington Oval, Barbados, on Saturday.

Both South Africa and India have maintained unbeaten records throughout the tournament. The Proteas secured a convincing victory over Afghanistan in the first semi-final, while Rohit Sharma’s team dominated England in the second.

For the final, the experienced duo of Richard Illingworth and Chris Gaffaney will serve as the on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough will be the third umpire, and Rodney Tucker will fulfil the role of the fourth umpire for this crucial encounter.
