ICC announces Rs682.86 million for the winning team of T20 World Cup 2024

WEB DESK: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Rs682.86 prize money for the winning team of the ongoing Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

“The runners-up will earn at least $1.28 million, while the losing semi-finalists will take home $787,500 each. Teams that do not advance past the second round will receive $382,500 each, and those finishing between ninth and 12th place will get $247,500 each,” read the press release issued by ICC.

The upcoming ninth edition will feature 20 teams vying for victory over the course of 28 days, spread across nine venues in the West Indies and the USA.

The teams have been divided into four groups, each consisting of five teams. Cricket fans will be delighted with intense performances from each team as they will strives to progress to the knockout stages.
