ICC deputy chairman joins PCB, BCB leaders for Pakistan-India match talks

LAHORE: International Cricket Council (ICC) Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja joined Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chairman Amin Islam to deliberate on the upcoming Pakistan-India match.

The meeting brought together key cricket administrators to ensure smooth planning and coordination for one of the most high-profile fixtures in international cricket. PSL CEO Salman Naseer, PCB Advisor Aamir Mir, and COO Sameer Ahmed Syed were also present to provide strategic inputs and logistical support.

BCB Chairman Amin Islam thanked Pakistan for its ongoing support in cricketing matters, highlighting the spirit of collaboration between the two cricket boards. Meanwhile, discussions between the PCB and ICC focused on match protocols, security, and operational planning for the Pakistan-India clash, emphasising the importance of joint efforts for such a marquee event.
