LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday unveiled the complete schedule for the upcoming all-format series against South Africa. As part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27, Pakistan will host two Test matches at home.

The first Test match will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from October 12 to 16. This will be the first five-day match held at the venue since its complete renovation earlier this year, ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24.

This series marks South Africa’s first Test tour of Pakistan since January 2021, when they lost a two-match series 2–0.

Pakistan will also host T20I and ODIs against the touring team.

According to the schedule revealed, the T20I format includes a total of three clashes against South Africa, with the first to be played in Rawalpindi on Oct-28. The other two twenty-over games will be taking place in Lahore on Oct-31 and Nov-1, respectively.

The last format of the series are ODIs that includes a total of three clashes to be taking place from Nov-4 to Nov-8 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Fans in Faisalabad are desperately waiting to see the Pakistan vs South Africa ODIs happening here as it is the first ODI at the stadium in 17 years. Pakistan had beaten Bangladesh by seven wickets at the venue on 11 April 2008.
