IHC stops FIA from declaring exam results as applicants lodge complaints

WEB DESK: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from declaring results of recruitment examinations following a petition challenging the test process.

Justice Azam Khan issued the order while hearing a petition filed by Yasir Arafat.

The court also issued notices to the FIA and other respondents, seeking their replies on the matter.

During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel argued that an out-of-syllabus test was conducted as part of the recruitment process.

The counsel further informed the court that the petitioner had also submitted an application to the FIA regarding the issue.

Advocate Afrasiab Ahmed Rana appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner and presented arguments.

The IHC directed the FIA to withhold the announcement of recruitment exam results until a decision is reached on the petition.

The court later adjourned the hearing.
