Imran Khan denied any contact about negotiations: Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated that the former prime minister has denied any contact from the government side for negotiations.

He said that he has not received any messages either regarding such negotiations. “We are not engaged in negotiations with anyone,” he declared.

Talking to the media, he mentioned that any communication received from the government concerning negotiations would be shared publicly.

He reiterated that no messages regarding negotiations have been received, and no talks are under way.”

Barrister Gohar asserted that their struggle for rights should not be labeled as resistance.

He expressed concern for the former first lady, Bushra Bibi, who is currently isolated and under house arrest in Bani Gala, with authorities denying entry to her residence. Despite medical personnel and an ambulance visiting Bani Gala, he lamented that they were not consulted.

Barrister Gohar appealed for permission to at least water the plants at Bani Gala.

He announced that PTI will organise nationwide protests on Friday. He condemned the recent by-elections as a farce and expressed hope for a future where democracy is reinforced.
