LAHORE: A rescue air ambulance successfully completed the country’s first patient transfer from Mianwali to Rawalpindi on Sunday.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz stated that a patient, who had fallen from a roof in Mianwali, was immediately rescued and transferred to Rawalpindi where she was provided with prompt medical treatment.
She added that following Nawaz Sharif’s directives, another promise made to the people of Punjab has been fulfilled.
Halima Bibi was airlifted from Mianwali to Rawalpindi within the critical “golden hour,” under the supervision of Dr Raza Nasir. This trial run of the rescue air ambulance marks a historic milestone.
Halima Bibi’s family expressed their profound gratitude, stating, “Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been an angel to us.”
