KOKOTTA: The INDIA vs USA clash saw the host team gaining a stunning victory, defeating their opponents by 132-8 in their third clash of the ICC T20 World Cup. The night belonged to the Indian skipper, who led from the front with a classy 84 off 49 balls.

After being put into bat, India posted a competitive 161-9 in 20 overs in the India vs USA clash tonight, taking a highly anticipated turn early in the innings.

During their batting, Captain Suryakumar Yadav’s 84 off 49 balls controlled the tempo early before shifting gears effortlessly. Other batters who also scored their best included Tilak Varma (25 off 16) and Ishan Kishan (20 off 16).

The chase truly sparked when Shubham Ranjane launched a fearless counterattack. His aggressive 37 off 22 balls (featuring two fours and three sixes) injected belief into the dugout.

However, India struck back at a critical moment as Ranjane and Krishnamurthi fell in quick succession and the momentum shifted sharply.

The lower order couldn’t provide the late flourish needed. Harmeet Singh fell without scoring, Mohammad Mohsin managed only 8, and the chase slowly lost steam. Shadley van Schalkwyk remained unbeaten on 2 at the end, but the result was beyond reach.

The USA closed on 132-8 in 20 overs, leaving a performance full of fight and heart, yet short on partnerships and finishing power.
