India announces squad against Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: India has officially announced its 11-member squad for the match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

In the highly anticipated clash of the Asia Cup, India’s lineup includes Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami.

Additionally, Kuldeep Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj are also part of the team.

No pressure, will maintain momentum: Babar Azam

Prior to this, Pakistan had also declared its playing eleven for the match against India.

In the national team, Captain Babar Azam and Vice-Captain Shadab Khan are included in the playing eleven.

Furthermore, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammed Rizwan, Mohammed Nawaz, Nasim Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf are also part of the squad.

It is important to note that the traditional rivals Pakistan and India will face off in Kandy in the Asia Cup, following Pakistan’s victory over Nepal in the tournament’s opening match in Multan.
