Despite the challenges in her personal life, the actress says she is now focusing on her career and inner peace, calling this the best phase of her life.

Half of Pakistani men support second marriage

Separately, A recent Gallup Pakistan survey has revealed that 40 per cent of Pakistanis conditionally support second marriages, while a majority, 60 per cent, oppose the idea altogether.

According to the findings, those against second marriage believe it should not be allowed under any circumstances, whereas those in favor say it is acceptable only if the person has the financial means to support more than one spouse.

The survey highlights a clear gender divide in opinions: half of the male respondents supported the idea of second marriage, compared to only 30 per cent of women.

When asked about the possibility of fair treatment between two wives, 72 per cent of Pakistanis said it would be difficult or impossible to ensure equal treatment, while only 26 per cent believed it was possible. Among those who considered fairness impossible, men made up the majority at 59 per cent.
