Punjabi music artist Harman Sidhu lost his life in a fatal road accident in Punjab’s Mansa district late Friday evening. The 37-year-old singer died after his car rammed into a truck on the Mansa–Patiala Road, police said.
Investigators reported that Sidhu, who belonged to Khiala village, suffered fatal injuries when the collision crushed his vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene. Sidhu was widely known for his hit duet “Paper Ja Pyar” performed with singer Pooja. He leaves behind his wife and young daughter; the family had also mourned the passing of his father just over a year ago.
Confirming the tragedy, Mansa SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena stated that a formal investigation into the cause of the crash has begun.
Sidhu found his passion for music at a young age, growing up in an environment where Punjabi melodies and folk culture were deeply woven into daily life. Over time, that early fascination turned into a full-fledged career.
Sidhu later released a string of songs that resonated with listeners and helped him build a strong fanbase. Among his well-known hits are Paper Ya Pyar, Bebe Bapu, Koi Chakkar Nai, Babbar Sher, and Multan VS Russia. These tracks continue to be cherished for their memorable rhythms and relatable themes.
Although his social media presence was modest, Sidhu enjoyed steady support from loyal fans. He had more than 3,700 followers on Instagram, around 18,000 on Facebook, and over 13,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Fans frequently praised the singer for his humble personality and the genuine rapport he maintained with his audience.
