Injury forces Naseem Shah out of Rawalpindi squad

LAHORE: Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah has been released from the Rawalpindi squad after suffering an injury during a recent match, team officials said.

Naseem sustained the injury while fielding in the previous game and has been advised rest by the medical panel due to a muscle strain in his leg.

As a result, the pacer will not be available for Rawalpindi’s match scheduled for April 26.

No timeline has yet been provided for his return, with officials indicating that his recovery will be monitored before further decisions are made.
