Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Pakistani Hajj camps in Mina, where he inspected arrangements and reviewed facilities being provided to pilgrims, officials said.

During his visit, the minister toured multiple camps and interacted with pilgrims to assess their accommodation, food, and other essential services. He also met elderly pilgrims, including a 100-year-old Haji, and inquired about their wellbeing, offering reassurance and support.

Naqvi personally spoke with pilgrims about the quality of arrangements in the camps and asked detailed questions regarding lodging and catering facilities. Several pilgrims acknowledged that while they had faced some issues, the staff on site had been cooperative and supportive in addressing their concerns.

The interior minister praised the efforts of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, particularly Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and his team, for their work in managing arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj.

He assured pilgrims that staff were available to resolve any issues they might face and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring their comfort and convenience throughout their stay.

Naqvi also highlighted improvements in immigration facilitation for Pakistani pilgrims this year, crediting Saudi authorities for introducing significant ease in processing arrangements.

He expressed gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj for their special support and cooperation in improving services for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.

Officials said the visit aimed to review arrangements on the ground and ensure that all possible steps were being taken to facilitate pilgrims during the holy pilgrimage.
