Cheapest iPhone model with Portrait mode to buy in Pakistan

Apple iPhone 7 Plus price in Pakistan

WEB DESK: Released in September 2016, the Apple iPhone 7 was a major upgrade from the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s series for many reasons. It had better specs, an improved camera, and a faster chip. Especially the iPhone 7 Plus, which came with dual cameras and introduced portrait mode for the first time on any iPhone.

Some of the new features included a home button with a solid, unmoving circle that wasn’t really a button at all. Thanks to a new haptic feedback engine, users could still press on the home button area and feel a fake click, but the button itself didn’t click.

The reason for the massive popularity of the iPhone 7 Plus was its dual 7-megapixel camera and portrait mode option, which took brilliant pictures.

This was why Pakistanis were so excited about the iPhone 7 Plus at the time and bought it in droves.

This was also the time when there were no mandatory PTA approval issues for Pakistanis, but even then, a brand new iPhone 7 Plus with 256GB of storage was priced as high as Rs120,000 in Pakistani mobile markets.

Although it has been 7 years since the launch of the iPhone 7, many people in Pakistan are still using the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Despite the fact that Apple is no longer releasing iOS updates for the iPhone 7, there are still a number of used iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones on the second-hand mobile market in Pakistan.

The price of a used iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus in Pakistan depends on the storage capacity and condition of the phone.

To give you an idea, the price of a used iPhone 7 PTA approved in good condition starts at Rs25,000 and goes up to Rs33,000 for the 256GB variant, while the iPhone 7 Plus price ranges from Rs36,000 to Rs52,000 for the 256GB variant in Pakistani mobile markets.

Saying that the iPhone 7 Plus is the cheapest iPhone you can buy in Pakistan with portrait mode wouldn’t be wrong.

As these phones are quite old, it is important to be cautious before buying one and check the phone carefully to avoid buying a faulty iPhone 7.

What to check while buying?

Here are some things to check when buying a second-hand iPhone 7:

Display: There should be no spots on the screen. You can check this by applying wallpapers of different colours.

Battery health: Make sure the battery health is not too degraded or out of service. If it is degraded, you may need to replace it.

Camera: Check that the camera is focusing objects properly and that there are no spots in the pictures you take.

Other things you must check include Touch ID, vibration, speaker volume, 3D Touch, silent key, charging port, microphone, Wi-Fi strength, and an IMEI-matched tray.
