Iranian military’s spokesperson tells Trump, “You’re fired”

Iran’s Central Military Command spokesperson addressed US President Donald Trump directly and in English.

He said “Hey Trump, you are fired. You are familiar with this sentence. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The statement comes after Trump gave Iran a 48 hours deadline on Sunday to open the Strait of Hormuz or face attacks on energy infrastructure.

The Iranian military responded with a warning that any attack on its energy infrastructure would trigger a “decisive and severe” response, potentially expanding the conflict across the region, and that US-linked energy interests across the region could also become targets.
