Iran’s Pezeshkian reaffirms strong commitment to regional peace and unity

TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a meeting held in Tehran with the Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday emphasised strong desire to maintain friendly relations with all Islamic countries.
During the meeting both the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional cooperation.
Emphasising peaceful coexistence with neighbours, Pezeshkian highlighted that unity among regional nations is essential for lasting peace, stability, and security.
The president noted that in today’s complex regional environment, closer cooperation between Muslim countries is more important than ever.
Strengthening dialogue and coordination, he said, would help address shared challenges and promote prosperity across the region.

Interior minister Naqvi appreciated Iran’s consistent support for peace and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Tehran.
He stressed that Pakistan and Iran, as important regional partners, share a common vision for stability and peaceful coexistence.
The meeting reflected both countries’ continued efforts to enhance diplomatic engagement and work together for a more stable and united region.
