TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has called for legal proceedings over alleged American and Israeli war crimes, urging that the matter be taken up in national and international courts.

He said that US and Israeli actions should be raised at global legal forums and demanded that those responsible for “war crimes” be brought to justice.

He also called for accountability in the case of the “Mianab School war crimes,” saying perpetrators must be put on trial.

The Supreme Leader stressed that following the instructions of the “martyr leader” is key to judicial success, adding that reforms in the justice system are essential to strengthening public trust.

He said judicial reforms should not remain limited to plans but must be implemented in practice, so that citizens can see their impact in daily life.

He further stated that justice system efficiency would reinforce public confidence in governance, and reiterated his call for international legal action against the United States and Israel over civilian casualties, including children and elderly people.
