Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has departed for Beijing on a one-day official visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, according to the Foreign Office.

During the visit, Dar is expected to hold talks with Chinese leadership focusing on the full spectrum of bilateral relations. Discussions will also cover key regional and global developments of mutual interest, reflecting the continued strategic coordination between the two countries.

Officials say the meeting aims to further strengthen diplomatic engagement and deepen cooperation across multiple sectors, in line with the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and China.

This marks Dar’s second visit to Beijing this year, reflecting the frequency of high-level exchanges between the two sides amid evolving regional dynamics.
