Islamabad administration changes venue for PTI’s Sep 8 public rally

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad administration has changed the venue for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally scheduled for September 8.
In continuation of this office letter No. 10(3)-HC(G)/2024 dated 05-09-2024, you are hereby
allowed to hold a Public Gathering / Jalsa on 08th September 2024 at the Open Space located at the junction of new Margalla Avenue / Iran Avenue and GT Road, Sangjani, Islamabad (at a distance of 200 meters away from the earlier notified place) as mentioned in the google Map (attached bellow) instead of earlier notified place. It is important to mention here that the routes and terms & conditions notified earlier will remain the same,” wrote the notification issued by the office of the district magistrate Islamabad.
Separately, PTI has finalised its strategy for the September 8 rally. The party’s core committee, chaired by Barrister Gohar, met on Friday to develop the plan. The committee has outlined a strategy to mobilize workers and the public nationwide, directing them to gather at Sangjani for the Islamabad rally. PTI’s national and provincial assembly members have been assigned the task of bringing supporters from their respective constituencies.
