Islamabad finally receives rain, weather turns chilly

ISLAMABAD: Light rain has begun in several sectors of the federal capital, Islamabad, altering the city’s weather and intensifying the chill.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in parts of the country, including the twin cities, from November 4 to 5.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a rain alert for various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa starting today. Intermittent rain and snowfall are expected across the province until November 5, and district administrations have been instructed to remain alert and take precautionary measures in advance.
Authorities have also warned of possible road closures in hilly areas due to the risk of landslides.
