Islamabad police arrest chairman PTI Barrister Gohar

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Monday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Barrister Gohar, outside the Parliament House.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar was arrested by Kohsar Police Station’s SHO, Shafqat Faiz.
According to reports, several PTI leaders remain outside the Parliament to avoid potential arrests. Earlier, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat was also arrested near the Parliament House in Islamabad.
A heavy police presence was deployed outside the Parliament, and all entry and exit points to the Red Zone were blocked at D-Chowk, Nadra Chowk, Serena, and Marriott, with the exception of Margalla Road.
According to reports, Marwat was arrested for violations committed during the Sangjani rally. These violations include deviating from the designated route, failing to honor commitments, attacking Islamabad police, breaching scheduled timings, and delivering anti-state speeches.
